maintaining a
joyful attitude

i d e a s
Our attitude as daughters
has a great impact on
the spirit of our family and home.
How do we maintain a
consistently joyful spirit
to be a blessing?
What is true joy?
Where do we find it?
Feelings change and waver,
but our God is a solid
Rock of protection:
how do we commit our feelings
and emotions to Him so
as to be consistently joyful,
even during hardship?
We would love to hear your
personal examples. Submissions must be emailed or mailed by May 15, 2011.

We welcome submissions that follow
our submission guidelines.
Non-thematic submissions are
welcome as well, such as inspiring
articles, letters, poems, pictures,
book reviews, prayer requests,
and craft ideas/projects. Items
received may be published on
the website or held for future issues
if there is not room in the next
printed issue (specify if you don't
want your submission on our website).

Untainted by the World

36 pages, (mailed hardcopy)

As Christians, how do we abide in the world and yet remain untarnished by it and the sin contained thereof? In this spring issue of The King's Blooming Rose, godly women and young ladies share how they seek to live their lives in the Word of God and to please Him alone, instead of conforming to the world's expectations. You are sure to be challenged and encouraged to stand strong on your CHristian convictions, even if the whole world opposes!

"As representatives of the King of kings, we are only pilgrims and strangers in a foreign land, here on the earth. Our true home is in heaven! Jesus said that we are in the world, but not of the world. Moreover, God calls us to be holy, as He is holy..."

Standing on His Word
» Interview with Lauren B.

"It’s very easy for us to get sidetracked in our journey. If we’re not careful, we can easily start trying to impress our peers instead of the Lord, and therefore drop our standards. The thing that keeps me focused on pleasing the Lord is staying..."

Tearing Down Our Defenses With Our Own Hands (part 1)

"Many people have posited that the 'Achilles heel' of the homeschool movement is the failure of the parents to pass on their vision and convictions to their children. The parents may give their children a stellar education and protect them from evil..."
